Linking Learning With Technology
Kingston is pioneering the use of ‘Blackboard', an online learning resource which is available across the whole University. ‘Blackboard' provides access to course materials, such as lecture notes and presentations, but at Kingston the system goes much further than that. Students can interact with staff and other students using online chat rooms and bulletin boards within each module. There are multimedia features too- for example, audio-visual lectures and tutorials, and videos of laboratory simulations.
Excellent Facilities Kingston University has invested millions of pounds in new teaching space and the latest e-learing technlogy, giving you excellent facilities to explore your subject area. Extensive computer access and library resources complement specialist laboratories, modern design studios and innovative technical equipment.
Students at SVKM will have access to this system providing the opportunity to have an equivalent learning experience to their counterparts at Kingston University.

Abishek Agarwal (BA Business Economics, graduated 2003) did postgraduate studies in Information Technology after leaving Kingston and is now a consultant at an IT Consultancy firm LogicaCMG. Abhishek looks after the company's financial services division. He says, “ The support from lectures at Kingston has been great- it did not end with the degree but has continued throughout my career”.
Laith Azzam (Business Information Technology, graduated 1999) though born in Jordan , lives and works in Dubai as a business analyst for one of the leading banks.

Health
Britain has a subsidized health service, which provides free health care and treatment for people who are resident in Britain. Students who are enrolled on a programme that lasts for more than six months are also entitled to NHS treatment. If a doctor prescribes any medicines these are subsidized but there will be a charge made for each prescription.
